Are you a supply chain expert with a knack for strategic optimization? Avipro Rwanda is looking for a Logistics and Planning Manager to lead their distribution, transport, and planning activities. This is a senior role designed for a professional who can drive operational excellence while ensuring cost-efficiency across the entire supply chain.
Role Purpose
The Logistics and Planning Manager is responsible for optimizing all logistics and distribution channels. You will ensure timely product delivery, manage a large fleet, oversee complex import/export operations, and ensure strict compliance with international regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Distribution & Delivery: Guaranteeing timely and complete product delivery to all distribution points and proactively resolving disruptions.

Transport & Fleet Management: Optimizing fuel efficiency, routing plans, and maintenance schedules for all company vehicles.

Import & Export: Coordinating with clearing agents and regulatory authorities to manage international documentation and customs clearance.

Strategic Leadership: Managing and coaching the logistics team while ensuring safety compliance and high productivity.

Performance Tracking: Preparing detailed KPI reports and operational insights to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Bach +3/4) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration. (An MBA is a significant advantage).

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.

Technical Expertise: Proven track record in fleet management, warehouse operations, and international trade logistics.

Working Conditions
