To develop plans, indicators, targets, and monitoring systems to track the progress and performance of programs or projects. They collect and analyze data, evaluate results and impacts, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
To do any other task related to the job as may be required by the supervisors.

Academic qualifications: Advanced diploma, bachelors’ degree or Masters’ degree in relevant fields

Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Strategic Management, Public Policy, Project Management, Development Studies, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fields.
Professional Certification: possessing any of the following would be an added advantage: Monitoring & Evaluation fundamentals; Results-Based Management (RBM); Data quality assessment (DQA).
Strategic Thinking: Should possess: strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with capacity to assess social and national security dynamics; identify emerging trends and risks, and provide evidence-based recommendations aligned with institutional objectives.
Communication: Should demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare clear, concise, and analytical reports, effectively present findings and recommendations, and communicate professionally with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical Ability: Should possess strong analytical ability, with capacity to collect, interpret, and synthesize complex information, identify patterns and trends, assess implications, and draw sound, evidence-based conclusions to support decision-making.
Experience: Relevant professional experience in research, policy analysis, planning, monitoring and evaluation, or national security related assessment, with demonstrated ability to produce analytical reports and support evidence-based decision-making.
