About the Junior Associate Program

This is a six-month, full-time paid apprenticeship based on-site in Kigali, Rwanda. Participants will work Monday to Friday, developing internationally aligned skills under the guidance of senior engineers while gaining hands-on experience supporting global clients.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this life-changing opportunity, you must:

Be currently based in Rwanda or willing to relocate.
Be a final-year University student or a recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Have at least 6 months of practical programming experience (via bootcamps, internships, hackathons, or personal projects).
Show a demonstrated passion for software development and a growth-oriented mindset.
Be fluent in English (spoken and written).
Be able to commit full-time for the entire 6-month duration.

What Happens After the Apprenticeship?

This is more than just training. At the end of the 6 months, apprentices are assessed against international delivery standards. Those who meet the expectations and demonstrate readiness will be offered a full-time position at AmaliTech!

How to Apply

The application process consists of 5 clear steps:

Online Application: Submit your resume, portfolio, and details.
Online Assessment: Complete a coding assessment covering programming basics, data structures, and algorithms (Pass mark: 300/600).
Shortlisting.
Interview: A 60-minute interview for shortlisted candidates.
Final Decision: Provided within 2 weeks of the interview.
