The Mission of CorpsAfrica
CorpsAfrica provides Africans the opportunity to serve as Volunteers for ten months in rural, underserved communities in their own countries. We facilitate small-scale, high-impact projects identified by local people and funded by partners from Africa and around the world.
What is CorpsAfrica Service?
CorpsAfrica Volunteers undergo one month of intensive Pre-Service Training followed by ten months of service in a community chosen for its specific needs and potential for growth.
As a Volunteer, you will:

Live and work directly with local residents.

Co-create and design solutions to address community-identified concerns.

Implement and monitor high-impact projects.
-
Receive a monthly living allowance, health insurance, and professional development support.

Eligibility & Requirements
To be eligible for the 2026 service year, you must:

Be a citizen of Rwanda.

Be 21 years of age or older by the start of service (August 2026).

Possess a university degree or equivalent professional experience.
-
Be physically and emotionally ready for a year of service in rural/remote areas.

Have a clean criminal record and no conflicts of interest.
